I am so sorry to hear about Claudia's passing.  My first memory of Claudia is when she was running down her driveway, shouting to her mom, that I was also in 4th grade.  We had just moved in across the street from her.  I remember having  a great time with Claudia and her brother, Mark, whether it was going to her cabin on Lake Independence, making houses in her sandbox and rectangular plastic swimming pool for the frogs, turtles, snakes, salamanders, and yes, toads, that we caught down at Indian Head Lake in her back yard, or playing inside with her fabulous Madame Alexander dolls and their furniture and accessories.  I remember whenever her Grandma and Grampa showed up, you could be sure they'd have some other wonderful toys with them for the kids.  Too, I think I was always totally amazed at the Bertramson snack and candy cupboard.  I recall with delight when Claudia got a Palemino horse that she initially kept in her driveway, down by her garage.  After Claudia and her family moved to Minot, I believe she became a high school rodeo queen.  Claudia will always be remembered as a most wonderful fun-loving and generous childhood friend with a gentle and friendly spirit.  Blessed be the memory of Claudia Bertramson.
