Obituary   http://www.mankatomortuary.com/m/?p=memorial&id=1942997

I didn't know Mark well in high school, but he appears to have led a life of service.  There are some interesting newspaper stories out there that describe his ministry to others.

I'm always amazed when I learn of an EHS classmate's death. It seems all too soon. Then I realize how old we are!

I still feel young, but that can change in a heartbeat!

RIP

During our senior year Mark and I worked as carry-out boys at the Miracle Mile Red Owl store. We had some great times especially after hours on Saturday nights when we would clean out the produce department and burn all the day-old bread and other bakery products that didn’t sell. We made sure to fill our cars with bread and other assorted bakery goods. I don’t think our parents ever had to buy bread as long as we worked at Red Owl. Very sorry to learn of Mark’s passing in addition to all the other classmates who have passed. I am saddened by every notice that is sent. At the same time, it makes me stop and give thanks for having good health and being able to enjoy retirement. Best wishes to all who may read this.
