Here's one thing most of Jim's classmates won't know about him: We were in 5th (?) Grade at Wooddale Elementary when for some unknown reason Jim shared with the class a riddle that went something like:
At the break of dawn, when the 'retsoor' 'swors' the typical 'elam' Nacirema gets up and proceeds to scrape his face with a very sharp blade...
Q: Who is the Nacirema and what is a retsoor?
A: American male rising to the crow of the rooster.
This riddle was a precursor to Jim's future song writing ability. Jim and I stayed close from 1st grade at Wooddale until his passing. He is dearly missed by family and friends
Jim and I went to Wooddale Elementary together. We used to walk to each other's home after school. He was a good friend back then. Even though I haven't seen Jim since high school, I miss him and sorry to learn of his passing. Jeff Anderson

Or something like that!
